GUIA - ALBUFEIRA - ALGARVE - RUSTIC LAND FOR SALE - 300.000€

Rustic land with 36.850 mt2 of land, with production of carob, olive, fig and almond trees, located in a rural area, very close to the main access roads to Albufeira and Silves.

The oceanographic park Zoomarine is located in this parish.

The village of Guia is approximately 6 kilometres from the coast and the same distance from Albufeira. Originally the village was located on the Cerro de S. Sebastião, from where it expanded, especially in the mid-20th century.

The main watercourse is the Ribeira de Espiche, at the end of which is Lagoa dos Salgados, a depression with a sub-elliptical shape, which is an inland lagoon.
It is an area of saline alluvial deposits, conditioned by the sea and the river, constituting a transitional ecosystem between land and sea.
The existence of a dune acts as a barrier to the water coming from the confluent basins.
The vegetation of the lower lake presents some typical species, while that of the dune system is much more diversified. The fauna is very rich, with seven breeding species and a large number of others that use the site as a support for migration, or for shorter periods.

The Salgados lagoon was part of the municipality until 1773 and now belongs to the parish of Guia and the municipality of Silves. The beautiful beaches of Galé, Pedras Amarelas and Salgados also belong to the parish. Located in the centre of the Algarve, in the southernmost region of Portugal, Guia is a parish in the municipality of Albufeira and belongs to the Faro district, about 38 km away.

The coast is made up of cliffs and beaches with a markedly Mediterranean climate: hot, dry summers and mild winters, with low rainfall, especially between October and March, and an average annual temperature of around 17.5ºC. One of the main tourist regions of the country, Guia almost needs no introduction. Tourism is the most important activity of the region. In the 1960s a real economic boom began in th

One of the main tourist regions of the country, Guia almost needs no introduction. Tourism is the most important activity of the region. In the 1960s a real economic boom began in the parish. With the arrival of international tourism, Guia became part of the main tourist routes. Today Guia-Albufeira is without doubt one of the main tourist centres of the country.

Geographically, Guia has a coastline of fine sandy beaches and crystal clear water. The zone is at a national level, one of the highest concentration of blue flags (European symbol of the quality of the beaches).

It is known as the Chicken Capital due to the numerous restaurants specialising in Piri Piri chicken, spicy charcoal grilled chicken - a gastronomic heritage of Mozambique. A large number of sprawling holiday villages are spreading out on both sides of the road to Albufeira.

Along the west coast of Albufeira you will find the beautiful Praia da Galé East, Praia da Galé West, Praia dos Salgados and Praia do Manuel Lourenço are the backdrop for large hotels and tourist developments. The Salgados Golf Course, situated on the saline shores of Armação Bay, is a challenge for players of all levels, as water also comes into play on each of the 18 holes.
